This agreement is between Prosperity, LTD. (FindStudents.net) and teachers who use the teacher-student matching service.

  1. Service Area
    • Our teacher-student matching service is only for residents in Japan

  2. Teacher Eligibility

    • Teachers must teach their native language
    • Teachers may also teach their non-native language if they have a qualification from a well-known institution
    • Teachers must have a valid passport, alien card and a visa/permit that allows them to work in Japan (or they must have a Japanese spouse/Japanese citizenship)

  3. Service Charge and Lesson Fees

    • Prosperity, LTD. (FindStudents.net) does not charge teachers for using the teacher-student matching service
    • Teachers are not employees of Prosperity, LTD. (FindStudents.net)
    • Teachers receive payment directly from the student at the end of every lesson
    • There must be NO discrepancy between the price displayed on a teaching profile and the actual amount charged
    • Teachers must update their teaching profile and give their students notice if they choose to change their lesson fees or any other additional fees

  4. Purpose of Membership

    • This service must only be used for teachers who genuinely want to find students

  5. Teacher's Information

    • All teaching information is displayed at FindStudents.net except for a teacher's last name, address, phone number and e-mail address
    • A teacher's e-mail address and last name are given to students who choose them as their teacher and therefore purchase their contact information
    • A teacher's phone number is also given to the students unless they have checked the checkbox in the TEL field of the registration form or the update form

  6. Responsibilities
    • Prosperity, LTD. (FindStudents.net) serves to help teachers find students who are looking at the teacher's profile on the Internet
    • Prosperity, LTD. (FindStudents.net) is not responsible for any damage, loss, dispute (or other issues) that have been reported by the use of this service
    • Teachers are responsible for any of the following work-related matters resulting from teaching; tax, insurance, superannuation etc.
    • Teachers must treat their students with respect and abide by any agreements between the teacher and the student
    • Teachers are responsible for the password that is issued when their membership is approved
    • Prosperity, LTD. (FindStudents.net) is responsible for providing government institutions with all necessary teacher information should the following situations occur; illegal acts, harassment, etc.
    • Prosperity, LTD. (FindStudents.net) has the right to terminate the teacher membership and remove the teaching profile without notice should any of aforementioned situations occur

  7. Prosperity, LTD. (FindStudents.net)'s Rights

    • Prosperity, LTD. (FindStudents.net) has the right to edit or delete a teacher's profile if mistakes or inappropriate statements are found
    • Prosperity, LTD. (FindStudents.net) holds the right to refuse a teacher's registration request or terminate their membership without notice
    • Prosperity, LTD. (FindStudents.net) has the right to display a teaching profile, except for teacher's last name, address, phone number and e-mail address

  8. Security and Privacy

    • Teachers must not disclose their ID and password to anyone
    • Teachers must not provide false or misleading information under any circumstances
    • All supplied content such as text, graphics programs, or other materials used at the FindStudents.net website are the property of Prosperity, LTD. (FindStudents.net). Teachers cannot use any of those materials without the expressed written consent of Prosperity, LTD. (FindStudents.net).

  9. Membership Termination
    • Teachers can remove their teaching profile at any time from the member's page, however, Prosperity, LTD. (FindStudents.net) is authorized to give teachers' contact information to students up to four weeks after the removal of the teaching profile

      Prosperity, LTD. (FindStudents.net) has the right to modify this agreement at any time and however is deemed necessary. The amended agreement becomes effective the day it is posted on the Prosperity, LTD. (FindStudents.net) website.
